Challenges
Why I turned to Basilius
I needed a company to work with who provides high quality molds, and plastic injection molding services at a reasonable cost in the United States. One of my customers needed to put his product into production, so he contacted Basilius as we didn’t have a resource. They have since become my go-to for machining and PIM services.

AN INTERVIEW WITH RAY Niscior
ON WHY HE CHOSE to collaborate with basilius
Q: What would you like our customers to know about you?
A: I am a lifelong thinker and tinkerer with a passion for problem solving, learning and getting things done right. I have experience with manual machining I.E. bridgeports and southbend lathes, drill presses, various saws, welding, industrial airless multipart coatings application and surface prep, woodworking, and anything else I can get my hands into. I am a lifelong guitar player, and I also tinker a lot with remote control cars, trucks, and planes. I make a lot of my own parts. I spent 6 years in the Navy as a Sonar Tech troubleshooting, repairing, and operating sonar systems and sonar subsystems. The service gave me a variety of experience with electrical diagnosis and repair, hydraulic water pressurization and cooling systems, hydraulic maintenance, and what seems like an unhealthy addiction to working long hours. So that’s me. I am a jack of all trades, master of some, faker till I makerer of the others.
Q: Describe any specific pain points that you had prior to Basilius?
A: The biggest pain point that I had was not having a resource for projects that I could not handle inhouse.
Q: What made you decide to choose Basilius?
A: Proximity is the main reason I choose Basilius to become my resource. They are located right here in Toledo, Ohio which is really important to me.
Q: How have things been going since working with Basilius?
A: Basilius has been fantastic. They communicate project progress and are not afraid to tell you the good and the bad. Honesty, integrity, and quality are important and Basilius delivers.
